FAQ
CATEGORY 1: ABOUT THE COURSE QUALITY
Who teaches the courses? Are they actual industry people or just educators?
The courses are built and taught by people who have done the work professionally — not academics explaining theory they read about. Every instructor has worked in the field they teach. Their job history is visible on their profile. You can check before you enroll.
How is this different from a coaching class or an online degree?
A coaching class gives you notes. A degree gives you a certificate. Karmkar gives you assignments that produce actual
work. The difference is simple: when you finish here, you have something in your portfolio you can attach to a job application or a client pitch. Most courses end with a test. This one ends with proof.
The course is only ₹2,500. Does that mean it's low quality?
The price is low because Karmkar is early-stage and wants to remove every possible barrier for people who genuinely
need this. Low price does not mean low standard. The assignments are real, the feedback is real, and the portfolio you build is real.
Will I get feedback on my work or just pre-recorded videos?
The course is built around assignments, not passive watching. You submit work, and it gets reviewed. You will know what
you did well and what needs to change. This is the part that actually builds the skill — not the watching, the doing and getting corrected.
How long does the course take to complete?
The Content Writing course has 6 modules and 16 assignments. At one focused session per day (roughly 45–60 minutes), most learners complete it in 6–8 weeks. There is no fixed deadline. You go at the pace that works for your schedule.
CATEGORY 2: ABOUT OUTCOMES AND EMPLOYMENT
What kind of jobs can I actually apply for after this?
After the Content Writing course you can apply for: content writer roles at startups and agencies, SEO writer positions, freelance writing projects on LinkedIn and job boards, and social media content roles. The course also teaches you how to pitch clients directly on LinkedIn — which means you do not have to wait for a job listing to start earning.
I already have a job. Will this help me switch or just add a side skill?
Both are possible. Some learners use the portfolio to apply for full-time content roles at companies that pay better than their current job. Others start freelancing on the side first, building income and proof, and then decide whether to switch. The course gives you the skill and the portfolio. What you do with it is your call.
What if I finish the course and still can't find work?
Karmkar builds your portfolio and teaches you how to find clients. Whether you land work also depends on how much you apply, how you pitch, and how the market is at the time. We do not promise a job. We promise that by the end of this course you will have work samples and a system for finding clients — two things most job applicants do not have. The rest is execution on your end.
Is freelancing the only option or can I get a salaried job?
Both. The portfolio you build works for salaried job applications and freelance pitches. Most hiring managers for content roles ask to see samples before they interview you. The course is specifically designed to produce those samples. Whether you use them to apply to a company or pitch a client is up to you.
CATEGORY 3: ABOUT THE PROCESS
I have never written professionally before. Can I still do this?
Yes. The course starts from zero. The first modules are built for people who have never written a blog post, never pitched a client, and never thought of writing as a career skill. Prior experience is not required. The willingness to do the assignments is.
What happens after I enroll? What does Day 1 look like?
After enrolling you get immediate access to the course dashboard. Day 1 starts with the Foundation module — understanding how the course works, what you will build, and what your first assignment is. There is no onboarding call required, no waiting for a batch to start. You begin the moment you log in.
Can I do this on my phone or do I need a laptop?
You can access and read all course material on your phone. For the writing assignments themselves, a laptop or desktop is strongly recommended — writing long-form content on a phone is possible but significantly slower and harder to edit properly.
CATEGORY 4: ABOUT TRUST AND RISK
I've paid for online courses before and never finished them. Why will this be different?
Most courses fail because they are passive — you watch, you feel like you learned something, and then you stop. Karmkar is built around assignments with a clear output at each step. You always know exactly what you are working on next and what the finished product looks like. The structure is the accountability. If you have the discipline to show up for your current job every day, you have enough discipline to complete 16 assignments.
Is my payment information safe?
Yes. Karmkar does not store card or payment details. All transactions go through a secure payment gateway. You will receive a payment confirmation and invoice to your registered email immediately after purchase.
